Kraken fans who are 16 years of age and over and residents of the United States are eligible to bid. Bidders of any auction items that include alcohol must be at least 21 years of age and will be required to show acceptable proof of age prior to being awarded the item. Eligible bidders do not need to be physically present at Climate Pledge Arena to participate, unless in-person attendance is required in the item description. Auction entry is void where prohibited. Additional restrictions may apply.

*Note for international bidders: Shipping is not available to locations outside of the United States. If you live outside of the US, we reserve the right to cancel your winning bid unless you can pick up the item in person or provide a US address for shipping. By registering for the One Roof Foundation’s Anchor Auction, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the auctions and acknowledging that your information will be shared with in accordance with those terms and conditions.  By entering a credit card into GiveSmart for use in Anchor Auctions, you acknowledge that all bids are final and authorize GiveSmart and the One Roof Foundation to charge the card for items won in the Anchor Auction.

Anchor Auctions will be held on select Seattle Kraken home game days, at One Roof Foundation’s discretion. Unless otherwise noted, Anchor Auctions open for bidding 30 minutes before doors open at Climate Pledge Arena and automatically close two hours after the start of the game. For example, for a 7:00pm Kraken game, the auction would open at 5:00pm and close at 9:00pm.

Bids must be placed through GiveSmart, our mobile auction platform.  All bids are final and cannot be adjusted once placed.  Bidding is not allowed following the close of the auction.  If a bid fails to go through due to a technical difficulty in the system, the One Roof Foundation is not liable, and the auction results remain as finalized. 

Once you have completed registration, you will receive a welcome message via email and/or text (texts are only sent if you opt-in to text message notifications during registration), linking to the Items page where you can browse and start bidding on auction items. To start browsing:

1. Click on the blue link in the welcome text to be directed to the Items page.
2. View items by category or search by item number or name.
3. Click the item of interest to view the description, the current bid, and the bidding history.
4. The system will auto-populate the bid amount based on the set increment for the item, but you can increase that amount, at your discretion.
5. Click “Watch This Item” or, if you are ready to start bidding, click “Bid.”

You can allow the system to automatically bid up to a designated amount for you. The system will bid incrementally up to the amount designated as long as someone else places a bid against you*. If no one bids against your auto-bid, the price remains the same. To set up an auto-bid:

1. Click the item of interest 
2. Click the “Auto Bid” tab
3. Enter in the maximum amount you would like to bid
4. Click “Bid”

*Note: When two bids are placed for the same amount, the bid placed first wins.

Winners will be notified via email or text message immediately following the close of each auction. Payment must be received within 24 hours of the auction date. Any remaining balances due will be automatically charged to the card on file the next business day after the 24-hour period has expired.   

You can track your status by clicking “My Activity” at the top of the Items page. All winners will be notified at auction close via text message (if opted in) or via email if the winner opted out of text message notifications. One Roof Foundation reserves the right to cancel bids suspected of fraud or tampering, in its discretion.

Payment can be made using the credit card on file with the mobile auction platform.

1. Click “Pay” at the top of the Items page
2. Review the purchase summary
3. Enter a credit card or use the one on file
4. Click “Pay”
5. Once payment is secured, a red “Paid” stamp appears
6. Show this stamp at the time of item redemption to confirm payment was made

Payment must be received within 24 hours of the auction closing time and prior to item pick-up. If payment has not been received within 24 hours of the date of the auction, any remaining balance due will be automatically charged to the card on file on the next business day after the 24-hour period has expired.

Pick-up from a Seattle Kraken Home Game: If you are present at the arena, please pick up your winnings after auction close at the Anchor Auction table on the main concourse (LL2) between sections 7 and 8. You must show proof of payment before you can collect your item(s).

Any items not picked up within 15 minutes of game end must be picked up offsite from One Roof Foundation. Winners will be contacted via the email address you used to register with instructions for arranging retrieval or you may reach out to [email protected] directly. Items are not kept at Climate Pledge Arena.

Items that include event tickets will be automatically sent via Ticketmaster to the email address on file unless the winner contacts [email protected] within 24 hours of auction close.

Pick-up from the Seattle Kraken office in Northgate: Please note, this option requires you to schedule a pick-up date and time with a One Roof Foundation representative. Pick-ups must be scheduled and confirmed by a One Roof Foundation representative prior to pick-up.

Mail: Select items* are eligible for delivery within 10 business days to address on file. Please note, the One Roof Foundation is not responsible for any items lost or stolen during the shipping process. Shipping is not available to locations outside of the United States and P.O. Boxes.

*Please note that items containing alcohol and large items such as hockey sticks are never eligible for delivery. Winners may contact us with any special pick-up or shipping requests.

Once notified, the winner has 30 days from the date of the auction to pick-up or schedule delivery of the auction item. If pick-up or delivery of an item is not completed within 30 days, the winner forfeits the item to One Roof Foundation with no option for refund.
