As we enter the second holiday season post COVID we are reminded that while some things will never be the same, certain things will forever endure; namely the power of kindness, grace, and compassion, the importance of family and friends, and the resilience of the human spirit. One Roof Foundation is guided by the beliefs that the well-being of any one individual is tied to the well-being of every other individual, and the future of humanity is tied to the future of the planet. By working together and for each other, we can emerge from these unprecedented times stronger than before.
Even before our brand launch in May, One Roof Foundation was actively advancing our vision of a more equitable society and a healthy planet where everyone can realize a brighter future. Our work centers around three impact pillars: ending youth homelessness in our region; increasing access to sport, hockey, and life opportunities for underserved youth; and advancing environmental justice so that everyone has clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and safe places to gather and play.
Over the coming year we will share stories of One Roof Foundation’s impact work, highlight community partners, and let you know how you can get involved. We thank the many individuals and organizations who have already stepped up to support our work through donations, participation in the online Anchor Auctions, and purchasing Kraken license plates and specific retail items. We encourage you to send us your questions and feedback, and hope that you will be inspired to spread the word about One Roof Foundation and the people and organizations we support.
